Ingredients
assortment of dried fruit
boiling water
Instructions
Layer fruit in glass jar.
Cover with boiling water.
Cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate and serve cold.
Tastes best after stewing for awhile.
Notes
Prunes (plums), apricots and raisins are traditional.
Peaches, pears and apples also work well.
