Easy Gluten Free Mandel Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 box gluten free Bisquick
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • lots of chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Mix together.
  • Form into loaves.
  • Bake at 350o until done (about 35 minutes?)
  • Remove from oven and cool for about 10 minutes.  Leave oven door closed and oven on.
  • Slice into 1 inch slices and separate.
  • Return to oven and turn oven off.  Allow to rest in oven for 10-20 minutes.

7/11/21 made with Namaste Muffin & Scone Mix:
 3 eggs, 3/4 cup oil, M&Ms - no added sugar, vanilla or cinnamon.
 Bake 20-25 min.
Tasty but very crumbly.  Wouldn't use this mix again. 
8/18/2024 Made with Aldi Yellow cake mix, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup oil.  A little crumbly but not bad.  Tasty.
Some cake mix -> cookie recipes use 2 eggs and 1/3 - 1/2 cup oil per 15 oz box of cake mix.  Try that next time???????
