Creme de Menthe Pie AKA Grasshopper Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • 24 creme filled chocolate cookies Oreos
  • 1/4 cup margarine melted

Filling

  • 1/4 cup green creme de menthe
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream whipped

Instructions

Crust

  • Grind up cookies in blender.
  • Pour into bowl and add melted margarine.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup for top.
  • Press remainder in springform pan and up sides.

Filling

  • Gradually add creme de menthe to marshmallow cream and mix until well blended.
  • Fold in whipped cream.
  • Pour onto crust.
  • Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
  • Freeze firm.  6 hours or overnight.
