Creme de Menthe Pie AKA Grasshopper Pie
Ingredients
Crust
- 24 creme filled chocolate cookies Oreos
- 1/4 cup margarine melted
Filling
- 1/4 cup green creme de menthe
- 1 jar marshmallow cream
- 2 cups heavy cream whipped
Instructions
Crust
- Grind up cookies in blender.
- Pour into bowl and add melted margarine.
- Reserve 1/2 cup for top.
- Press remainder in springform pan and up sides.
Filling
- Gradually add creme de menthe to marshmallow cream and mix until well blended.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Pour onto crust.
- Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
- Freeze firm. 6 hours or overnight.
