Bubbe's Mandelbrot
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Wesson butter oil
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup nuts OR
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Beat eggs, sugar and oil.
- Fold in remaining ingredients.
- Form into three loaves. Use metal ice cube trays for baking pans.
- Bake at 350o for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Close oven door to hold heat.
- Slice warm. Move some slices to a 4th tray to allow for air circulation around the pieces.
- Dry in oven. Store in Ziploc bags in the freezer.

10/27/17 Made with Pillsbury Gluten Free All Purpose Flour. Looks right but crumbly and grainy texture.
