Fruit Compote
Ingredients
- assortment of dried fruit
- boiling water
Instructions
- Layer fruit in glass jar.
- Cover with boiling water.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate and serve cold.
- Tastes best after stewing for awhile.
Notes
Prunes (plums), apricots and raisins are traditional.
Peaches, pears and apples also work well.
